Nikola-Lenivets Art Park
Archstoyanie is the annual international festival of landscape objects in Nikola-Lenivets.
This year, artists and architects of the “Archstoyanie” will reveal the code that records a PERSONAL message to a PERSONAL ONE.
An architect, a founder of the Totan Kuzembayev Architectural Workshop will present the Mausoleum of Dreams, Moscow’s chief architect Sergey Kuznetsov will present the project “Ideal Russian”, and artist Vladimir Nasedkin will present the “Drunken Fence”.
The work of the winners of the open competition Vasilisa Prokopchuk and Yevgeny Bragin will also appear at the “Archstoyanie”. The main goal was to create a work of art that is accessible to every visitor to the park. The jury selected their work “Impenetrable Thicket” among 250 applications from around the world.
The “Impenetrable Thicket” is a cylindrical room with movable walls of hanging branches. Being in the center of the thicket, the visitor can try to find the way back with closed eyes. The festival program also includes an audio promenade by Fyodor Elyutin, theater performances in the forest and open field, lectures, concerts and sound installations.
